So for those of you who have been fooled by my trickery, I actually did back track on my last post I just created posts with past dates on them so it put them below my post about back tracking. :) Pretty tricky. However, it is time to update on whats been going on in the Rushton household.

So for those of you who REALLY want to know what has been going on and why I have been pretty non-existent the past month or so has a little something to do with being sick, not the Flu or a cold or anything you can catch, but being nauseated 24-7. Which in turn makes me about 12 weeks pregnant! :D I was going to wait till we knew what we were having, but then I know some people would start to be wondering about the weight gain or we could just attribute it to my lovely ever present belly. :) I have finally started feeling better, which I thought would never happen.

I am still really tired and have to take naps when Mackenzie does or I feel like I haven't slept in a week. Crazy how much fatigue you get hit with, especially when you have a toddler that is all over the place. Although Mackenzie has been Awesome! We have spent a lot of time in moms bed but we have made good use of our time. Mackenzie is really smart, and I am completely biased here, but I am allowed right? We have been working on the alphabet and Mackenzie picked up on it really fast and now knows and recognizes the entire alphabet and numbers 1-9. She loves letters and is constantly recognizing them in the world around her. We'll be driving and she'll just start calling out 'S' or 'Y' or any that she sees around. She has a couple 'ABC' puzzles that she is a wiz at putting together. It really is cool to see how much kids absorb and learn. Makes going through all this sickness again to be able to be a mom to another great kid.
Mackenzie has also been drawing lots lately and has a little etcha-sketch that she loves and makes us write on it all the time. She does do a lot of drawing on her own mostly squiggles and circles, and occasionally she will actually draw something recognizable and gets excited about it. Tonight she drew a happy face and it looked just like one. And of course if we ask her to do it again she can't, but it is really fun to see how excited she gets. The other night she was drawing and said 'bird' and this is what she drew:

So another big thing that has been going on lately is car issues. Jason's car got hit while he was eating lunch at Arby's. A man in a pretty nice car backed into him and didn't want to let the insurance company know about it because he had just received a speeding ticket and was worried about another claim. But Jason told him he wasn't going to pay for it out of his pocket so something needed to be done and in the end they exchanged insurances, and we have to get that fixed now. The other car issue is my own doing. Kind of a weird and hard to explain situation but I'll do my best to help you understand completely what happened. I had a neighbor who had dug up a bunch of plants and was giving them away for free, I took what I wanted gave it a couple days to see if anyone else wanted any and then told my mom about them. So my mom wanted them and to help her out I picked them up in our SUV and drove them to her house. Now on the back of our SUV you can open the hatch, which is just the window, and the whole back door. And I generally always just open the window and use that. From taking the plants out I had got a bunch of dirt stuck in the cracks of the hatch window and figured the best way(at the time) to get it out was to leave the window open and open the entire back door, gave it a little shake, you know to get that dirt out... and BAM! mass explosion of a million shards of glass EVERYWHERE! I just stood there with my jaw dropped and was completely speachless. I've never seen anything like it. And let me tell you no fun to clean up either. Jason was really cool about it, I thought for sure I was going to get a lecture about how stupid I was, but he said it was an accident and he couldn't get mad. Maybe he secretly thought that my hormones would go overboard and I'd cry or something. :) So he called a glass place to replace my window and we got it replaced the next day. The one problem I am now having is that there is a panel attached to the glass that needs to be painted and being that we took the car to be replaced at a window repair shop, they don't paint. It is only primed to be painted. So now I am driving around with a gray panel against a red car....looks fabulously ghetto. Now I am having issues with our insurance company approving the panel to be painted...and I just get so frustrated because it should be all under the SAME claim. What's even funnier about the whole situation is that when I called our agent to tell him about it his receptionist tells me to just go to Autozone and buy a paint that matches to avoid the hastle... HELLO!! Talk about GREAT advice!

Lovely glass all over the top of the SUV. The picture on the left is what the panel DID look like, now it is a nice shade of gray.

Lets call this a night. I think I have wrote my novel for the month.
